Login error, Security Check HELP

i don’t think this has been fulled fixed as of version pro 1.1.3rc1.

it works some of the time, but every now and then – like once a week – i get locked out of my site. everyone does.

the first time i reinstalled the plugin and that fixed it. no such luck today.

so today i just set function verifyNonce() to just return true all the time.

i’m sure that is a security hole and a bad thing, but right now it’s less of an issue than no one being able to log in at all – including me.

Hi,

I am having the same issue. My bro is trying to login to the site (which he was able to do fine last week) and not his ip is somehow getting a security check each time he wants to login. I am using the pro version.

When I try login with his account from here (different IP) it works fine. He has cleared cookies , caches and tried multiple computers in same house.

How can we fix this?

Please confirm that for /user-meta/framework/init.php file

I experienced the “Security Check” bug as well today. I’m still developing the site, but a few days away from launch now, so please advise what the best option is as soon as possible.

UMP – 1.1.3rc1
WP – 3.5

Should I upgrade to 1.1.3rc2 – which I see was just released, but it doesn’t say “recommended”. However, maybe it the way to go since I’m using WP3.5. Or should I implement the temp fixes listed in this forum instead for now…will they work as they were supposed to be fixed in the latest update?

Same problem. Local install but can’t push site live until fixed.

Tim, do you think it is only something to do with being on a local machine? I had the same issue on my local server, but thus far no issues on two live servers. Give it a try on test URL maybe? Hopefully that is the problem for us both!

If anyone have faced “security check” issue on login/lost password page please contact with http://user-meta.com/contact-us/ section with url of your login page. If you are in local server, have a try with live server.
