Invalid Key

Hello
I have user meta pro. I have it set up for email validation. registration goes well and email is sent but about 50% percent of the time when the user clicks the unique link in the email they get an invalid key error. I have read in other post that it might be a plugin conflict. Clearly wordpress sites often utilise multiple plugins. Can you specify what you think the error is and what type of plugin might be causing the issue.

i have plugins that do the following tasks:

diable admin bar
redirection
recipes
regenerate thumbnails
typekit integration
add watermarks
widget logic
db manager/backup
super cache

any assistance would be appreciated.
