Hook user_meta_user_active

Hello, thanks for this great plugin.
I’m in need to use the Action Hook: user_meta_user_activate, for saving to Mailchimp user fields used in registration but only when user is actived by admin.
I’m a novice, could you give me some hints, starting from “where i do put hook code and function?” in which files? Plugin files or WP like functions.php?
How i can get user fields defined in User Meta Pro? Can retrieve from User ID?

Hello,
Action hook: “user_meta_user_activate” only trigger when user is activated. You can write codes for action hook in functions.php file (under active theme directory)

Here is a quick example.

add_action( 'user_meta_user_activate', 'postToMailchimp' );
function postToMailchimp( $userID ){
$user = new WP_User( $userID ); // This is a user object, you can get user data from this object.
// Write your code for mailchimp here.
}

Im using get_user_meta($user_id) to access User Meta extra fields used in registration form and I’m refining the script.
