My company is doing a promotion where we’re sending an offer to people on a mail list. They go to a site using a PURL and I capture their name, address, phone number, etc. from the mail list.
After they are done on that site, they will be redirected via a form to our main site. In that form, I have all the user data (First Name, Last Name, etc).
When they arrive on our main site, I need them to create a username and password for our site (so I can make sure they username isn’t already being used).
So I have two questions:
1. Is there a way I can put all the rest of the data into hidden fields so they don’t have to re-enter that data?
2. Once they register, they will be giving information about their children (Name, Age, Grade in School, etc) for camp. I don’t know how many kids they will have, so I was wondering if there is a way to create a second form for the children and store the resulting data in an array that is stored in the user-meta?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
