Getting Duplicate Copies Of Email Verification Confirmations

I am using User Meta Pro email notifications in conjunction with SendGrid. I have discovered that whenever a user verifies their email address, the following occurs:

1. The user gets 2 copies of the ’email verified – user notification’ email
2. Admin gets 2 copies of the ’email verified – admin notification’ email

I thought that it could be a SendGrid issue, but after checking my email activity within SendGrid, it doesn’t appear to be on the SendGrid side (based on what I learned from this: http://community.sendgrid.com/sendgrid/topics/sending_duplicate_emails_sometimes_hours_or_days_later)

Do you know what may be causing these ‘after email verified’ emails to be duplicated to both the user and admin? None of the other emails kicked off by User Meta Pro are resulting in duplicates – only the post email verification ones.

Maybe you was not completely remove existing ump version when you update the plugin. BTW, UMP-1.1.3 is available now, you can update the version, Please completely remove existing UMP version when updating to new one.

Can you explain what you mean by “completely remove”? Shouldn’t I just be able to deactivate the plugin and uninstall it?

If I update the plugin by deactivating and uninstalling my current installation of the UMP plugin – I trust that all of my fields and forms will not be lost?

If you Deactivate and Delete then Install and Activate the new version, any field, forms, setting will not lost.

Thanks so much for the help! I have one more question and then hopefully I am done bugging you 🙂

I have a checkbox field with 6 options. I want to have all 6 checked by default.

Here are my field options:

Auto=Auto Insurance, Life=Life Insurance, Health=Health Insurance, Medicare=Medicare Insurance, Home=Home Insurance, Other=Other Insurance

Here are my default values:

Auto,Life,Health,Medicare,Home,Other

Shouldn’t these boxes be checked by default based on these defaults? In my implementation they are not checked by default. Thanks!

With UMP-1.1.3, your configuration suppose to work.

Ok, it looks like the checkboxes are now working. I’m still getting the duplicate email verification emails though after upgrading the plugin.
