Force Login

Hi,

we are using the plugin Force Login (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-force-login/) to force users to login.
In UMP we have created a password reset page. Now when the user clicks on the link to reset his password, he will always be redirected to the password reset page (by Force Login).
With this function I can define exceptions:

function my_forcelogin_bypass( $bypass, $visited_url ) {
  // Allow all single posts
  if ( is_single() ) {
    $bypass = false;
  }

  // Allow these absolute URLs
  $allowed = array(
        home_url( '/xyz1/' ),
	home_url( '/xyz2/' ),	
	home_url( '/reset-password/' ), // can't work because the link itself is not absolute
  );
  if ( ! $bypass ) {
    $bypass = in_array( $visited_url, $allowed );
  }
  return $bypass;
}
add_filter( 'v_forcelogin_bypass', 'my_forcelogin_bypass', 10, 2 );

The delveloper says I will need to bypass this page using a method that does not rely on an absolute URL.
Is it possible to use use the is_page() conditional tag to determine whether or not to bypass Force Login?
Any ideas?

Hi,

You can simply put something like below in your function.php or any plugin file.

function forcelogin_ump_bypass( $bypass ) {
    
	$reset_page = 'resetpass'; //replace resetpass with your reset password page name url
	if(strpos($_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'], $reset_page)){
		$bypass = true;
	}

    return $bypass;
}
add_filter( 'v_forcelogin_bypass', 'forcelogin_ump_bypass' );
