Email all users

I have just brought this plugin, and must say I’m impressed, apart from some spelling/grammar mistakes it’s really good. Anyway on to the question in hand:

I have just imported nearly 1500 users from CSV into the database. I am looking to send all the users an email that includes a short bit of text and inform them that their account is now live and let them know their password.

How could I achieve this?

Hello,
Thank you for using pro version. There is an option “Send email to new user” checkbox when your have imported your users. If you check the checkbox all new user will receive an email, “User Registration Email” template will use as email template in this case.

To change User Registration Email template, go to User Mera >> Email Notification.

Please let us know spelling/grammar mistakes that you have found in the plugin to support(at)user-meta.com so that we can correct it with next release.

Is there no way to send this email after the import has completed?

The one mistake is something like “Please wait until an admin approve your account.”. Should be “approves”.

In fact, WP doesn’t store plain text password to anywhere and for security reason, UMP doesn’t store user password as plain text format. So, plain text password is only available when registration.
You can remove your users and reimport them with checking the sending checkbox.
