Hi,
Since I have updated my template I cannot use date field which has date picker. It is probably a javascript conflict but I cannot figure out what it is actually. I had to disable this function on the original page but I have created a test page. Please can you have a look at this page and the code and let me know what is stopping it working. It was working OK with my previous template.
Hi
Thank you for looking in to this. At the time of you were checking this jquery.js must be missing. I have been trying to disable some of the js files to identify the problem and you must have had a look while I was doing this. Sorry about that. But it is actually there now and still not working. Please try this link once more http://www.realbrides.co.uk/testform/. I hope you can help me with this. Because, I have tried to add a text box for existing users and add the dates manually to update my data, but this didn’t work either. I wanted to test on a development server, but a licence needed to be able to test date picker section. And I am not sure if I can do this with one licence. Many thanks for your time, I hope we can make it work again.
I have created a test site and installed meta-user plugin. The plugin seems to work with normal wordpress themes but not with my theme. Here is the link to test wordpress site with meta-user http://wordpress-test.fxmd.co.uk/registration/
It must be something to do with javascripts or function call positioning. But I cannot figure it out. Please can someone look at the codes and identify the problem. Many thanks
Hi jrenrock,
I have finally resolved this problem after days. It wasn’t actually a javascript conflickt this time. My custom template stylesheet was causing the problem so may be you can check yours too. On the wrapper section I have changed the value of z-index: 6; to z-index: 2; This seemed to sort the problem out and everything else on site seems to be OK. Goos luck
