how can I have a blank value for the dropdown field? At the moment I have several values for the dropdown field, and nothing in the “Default value” option at the admin page, but still the form shows the first value from the list as default, while I’d like it to be blank.
To do this you just need to add a comma right at the beginning of your items list (with no space before the comma.) So for example:
, Item 1, Item 2, Item 3
Note the comma at the start, that will give you a null item in the drop down. This is good as well if the drop down is set to required, i.e. the user must select something other than the blank option.
