Backend collapse/expand buttons not showing

I just installed Version 1.1.6 and completed the registration/licensing process. All was looking good, I added about 2 dozen new fields, and a form.
However, now on the admin backend Fields Editor, the small buttons that expand and collapse each field (and the help/available fields blocks on the right) do not show. So I am blocked from adding any changes to fields. I can still delete and move the fields, just cannot expand them to edit.

I’ve tried re-validating my license with no change. I also tired deactivating and activating the entire User-Meta plug, also with no change in behavior.

Any idea what is going wrong and how to correct this?

I found the problem. It was a conflict with the WP Plugin Maintenance by Muneeb. Deactivating this plugin restored all my expand/collapse buttons, including the buttons on the E-mail Notification page.

Note, the expand/collapse buttons provided by the native WP Admin (such as what you see on the Dashboard) were not affected at all, they continued to show even when the User-Meta expand/collapse buttons failed to show. This is because the two system use different code to implement this feature. Only User-Meta is impacted by the Maintenance plug-in.

This problem now resolved.
