Add a download to Profile Page

Hi there,
I would like to be able to add downloads to individual user’s profile pages.
How can I do that?
Ideally the user will go their profile page and there will be a field/area which will be titled downloads.
In this section will be PDF’s or links to files (invoices/tickets etc) which they can download.
I have tried adding rich text and upload fields, but these do not allow someone to download.
Do you have any suggestions for how to achieve this?

Try “HTML” Field under the “Formatting Fields”. Write HTML to include your link or file.

Thank you for that.
That seems to have worked.

Can you explain how I can do this for 10 different users?
If all of them have a different link I want them to download.
What is the best and fastest way to do this?

Hello,

Add different HTML fields and put conditional logic in each field based on your criteria.
You can find “Conditional Logic” in Advanced option of each field.

OK – thank you – so in my case, with 300 staff with different uploads, it will take a lot of time using this method?

Hello,

You can tinker with the link by using placeholders. If your file links follow a certain structure based on user-data, use the data placeholder on the link. For example, if the link contains username for different users, you can use %user_login% placeholder.

Thank you for this.
So say for example I wanted to tag one piece of content for 10 managers and a different piece of content for staff, is there a way to do this using your plugin?
I am using PMPRO to add some basic page restrictions.
Is there a way to combine access levels with the conditional logic to add content to the profiles of different level users?
