I’ve been building a private lesson plan with User Meta Pro 1.1.3.1. It consists of 50 exercises that require an awful lot of fields and a few hundred forms (at least 3 for each exercise).
I’ve hit a wall though: I can no longer save any new forms; the plugin appears to have maxed out at 16 forms.
I have several dozen fields created, all with unique meta keys & titles. I can add any of those fields to existing forms, but cannot save new forms.
I’ve tried everything I could think of:
– deactivate all plugins
– default 2012 or 2013 theme
– delete & re-install
– truncate wp_usermeta table and re-install
This is on a multisite install that I just updated to WP 3.6 (was 3.5.2).
Also updated to BuddyPress 1.8.1 (was 1.7.3).
There is absolutely nothing in my error logs.
It’s important to note that prior to updating WP & BP, I was working on a 17th form and had saved it. Only after the updates could I no longer save again.
I’ve also tested this on another install (single site) with WP3.6 & BP1.8.1 and can successfully save many more than 16 forms. So there does appear to be something wonky going on when updating a network install.
I set up a new multisite install with exactly the same configuration as above, but this time installing WP 3.6 & BP 1.8.1 from the get-go.
I have reproduced most of the UserMeta fields & forms as on the problem install and am now at 30 forms. The issue I reported above is as yet not present on this new install.
It would appear that this only occurs when updating WP and/or BP.
