After updating from 1.1.6 to 1.2, it is no longer possible to customise the text for login_user_label for the widget.
It looks as if this setting is missing in the Settings/Text/Login section.
I need to change the default “Userneme or Email” text in the widget to my own text.
This was possible in 1.1.6

You can use http://user-meta.com/add-ons/user-meta-advanced/ plugin to customize login label.
